A truely tradtional agricultural show, with a wonderful
'yesteryear' atmosphere. The poultry tent is only a recent addtional,
but it goes from strenght to strenght. This year we have become
affiliated to the Poultry Club of Great Britain, and secured the
services of a panel A judge- Dilwyn Green who will be sorting
the birds along with his father.
Bishops Castle is a wonderful old market town set
in the beautiful South Shropshire Countryside. For more info on
the town please log onto http://www.bishopscastle.co.uk/tourism/events.htm.
The town has some fine eating places, as well as two breweries!

If you live locally and can spare a little time
a few days before the show you may be interested in helping to
set up the hall. Volunteers are always needed, whether you help
setting up the pens, sticking pen numbers on or just helping show
people where to go on the day - every little helps even if it
just donating a raffle prize.
It is a great way to get involved and help out -
you may also pick up a few tips from other people!
If you think you could spare some assistance, please
