Each country with a Pekin Club of its own has a standard of perfection which breeders should aim towards. This includes two sections - one stating the "type", eye colour, leg colour and other general characteristics and one stating how each colour should appear.

The UK
has 12 colours of Pekin already standardised. To view a full copy of the
standards for these, which are also the standards the Pekin Club of Great
Britain promote please click
here.

In Australia
there are 21 colour standards to follow. Not all of these are standardised
by each club in the country but act as a guide for those breeders working
on them to follow. To view them please click
here.

South
Africa have 6 standard colours of Pekin. To view them plus a description
of how the points are awarded please click
here.
